If you're tired of waiting for your laptop to boot up, then try downloading the software "HyperSpace". HyperSpace is a software that boots a version of Linux very quickly to give you a desktop you can use to connect to a network. It lets you boot your laptop almost as soon as you hit the power switch.
HyperSpace comes in two versions, HyperSpace Hybrid for standard laptops and HyperSpace Dual for netbooks. Hybrid lets you run both Windows and HyperSpace at the same time. Dual requires you to boot one or the other. The system requirements are strict, and the product works on a limited range of notebook computers.
You can't use a virtual private network (VPN) with HyperSpace, so you'll be able to get to your mail only if it is accessible through a Web browser

I like this idea. I have never really liked Linux but if Microsoft bombs on Windows 7 like they did with Vista I may give Linux a try.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, after reading the article the program does have some bugs it will need to work out, especially the Ctrl+Alt+Backspace causing the system to crash feature!
